RAYA
Inspired by the legacy of our Ancestors
From Harihara I to King Krishnadevaraya, and my grandfather, Sh. AV Rayalu, my family’s story has always been about leadership and the community. Their lives were rooted in generosity, strength, and a deep belief in the power of people. That same spirit lives on today through the Raya for change. At our core, we believe that every person deserves a chance to learn, dream, and grow. Together, let’s build a future where every child learns, every woman leads, and every voice matters.

Kings Harihara I and Bukka Raya I
Harihara I and Bukka Raya I established the Vijayanagara Empire in 1336. They implemented policies to consolidate power and establish a stable governance structure.
They patronized Hindu temples and institutions, supporting the revival and restoration of Hindu traditions and scriptures.
They granted lands to temples and religious institutions, which played a role in supporting the economy and social welfare through temple-based activities.
King Krishna Deva Raya
Krishnadevaraya, the illustrious monarch of the Vijayanagara Empire was known for his extensive public works projects, including building irrigation systems such as the Krishna Raja Sagara dam and reservoir. These projects helped in agricultural development and ensured water supply during dry seasons. Krishnadevaraya introduced administrative reforms aimed at improving governance efficiency and justice delivery.
He patronized scholars, poets, and artists at his court, contributing to the development of Telugu literature. He supported scholars and educational institutions, promoting learning and knowledge dissemination among the populace.

Our mission is simple but powerful: to stand up for social equality and take bold actionable steps to improve our world. When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, we knew we had to act fast. We reached out to vulnerable families, distributing thousands of blankets to help them get through the harsh winters, the least we could but, with our partners, we launched clean water campaigns and helped improve sanitation in villages. Gender equality is also at the heart of our work. Our founder, Lakshita has been diving deep into the issues faced by working women, pushing for policies that can make a lasting impact. One of our dedicated team leaders even spent two years researching how solar energy could light up lives in remote regions, creating solutions that bring clean energy to places that need it most. Lakshita also teamed up with National Service Scheme (NSS) at Delhi University, facilitating a much-needed blood donation drive with the Red Cross Foundation. This is just the beginning. There's still so much more to do. Our team is committed to showing up, every day, for the communities we serve. If you'd like to learn more or get involved, please reach out. Together, we can keep pushing for the change we all want to see.
